The holiday season is all about dinners and eating to your heart’s content. Obviously the rules to eating right don’t have to apply necessarily. My best friend and her family invited mine over for dinner for Christmas Eve, and I decided I would bring (a guilt-free) dessert. I made these awesome and completely vegan cinnamon buns, which were a big hit! They were fun to make, and the house and car smelled like cinnamon! I am definitely making these again.
This Christmas, my sister bought me a Cuisinart Round Classic Waffle Maker, which I’ve been dying to get to make my own waffles (thanks, sis!). Yesterday, I finally got around to opening it and using it. I made oat & spelt flour cinnamon waffles, topped with a delightfully sweet bananas foster sauce. Completely healthy and free of refined sugars and full of fibre and protein. It was delicious, and a great way to start the morning! Definitely going to try to use this machine weekly 🙂
Welcome to my blog! I’m excited to start this new food blog chronicling my flexitarian way of eating. Not sure what that means? Basically it’s actively incorporating vegetarian meals (though for me more often vegan), while still enjoying meat every now and then.
